CFVI Resource Hub

How can I access resources?

Resources can be accessed by clicking the 'Discover Curriculum Framework VI Resources' at the bottom of this page or 'Browse CFVI Resources' to the top left of this page.

The Resource Hub contains both links to resources that are downloadable from the RNIB Bookshare Resource Hub directly, as well as external resources that are signposted to from the relevant CFVI area.

All resources are freely available, however, to download a resource you will need to sign in with your RNIB Bookshare log in details,  join RNIB  Bookshare.

What format are the resources in?

Resources are available to download as accessible PDF files.

This Resource Hub is in its pilot phase of development and we plan to refine both the resources and method of access as the CFVI becomes embedded in practice across the sector. This hub contains documents from colleagues across the education sector and we have made every attempt to make them as accessible as possible. If you require an alternative format please email cypf@rnib.org.uk, marking the subject box - CFVI resource(s).

I would like to contribute - how can I upload resources?

There are lots of accessible resources being created by individuals throughout the UK and through this hub, we can help you to share the resources that you, your organisation or service create. This means that everyone can benefit from access to a greater pool of resources.

Before submitting resources please refer to the following document:  PDF iconPDF iconGuidance to Resource Providers

To submit resources for inclusion in the hub, please email cypf@rnib.org.uk, attaching your resource and marking the subject box - CFVI resource(s).

How can I feedback?

Your feedback is really important to us.

We are keen to continue to evaluate and improve this pilot Resource Hub. Your feedback will support us to do this in relation to improved functionality or further resource development so that we can ensure you have the resources you require to teach the essential specialist skills, children and young people with a vision impairment may require.

All resources submitted to the hub have undergone a quality review/evaluation process including peer review by practitioners within the sector and accessibility checks before being uploaded to the hub.  However, if you notice any quality issues with a particular resource, please let us know by emailing: cypf@rnib.org.uk and marking the subject box - CFVI resource(s).

Subject specific curriculum resources

This resource hub focuses on supporting the learning and development of specialist skills as defined by the CFVI. If you would like to find resources relating to curriculum subjects these can be found on the Subject Specific Curriculum Resources page.
