- This annotated bibliography of research citations covers the topic of race and crime in the United States from 1950-1999. This work includes research on all racial groups, including whites and American Indians. Annotations are divided into categories such as works on individual racial groups and multi-racial groups. This bibliography is designed to assist researchers in the area of criminology and criminal justice in race-related topics.This annotated bibliography offers more than 500 citations to literature on the relationship between race and crime. It offers crime research on all racial groups, including whites and American Indians, Hispanics, Blacks, and Asian Americans. It covers the span from the civil rights era to the end of the 20th century. Annotations are derived from various disciplines including criminology, sociology, anthropology, psychology, law, and history. The Bibliography is divided into three parts: individual and race-related research; multi-racial research; and electronic resources, which provide access to all aspects of current data on race and crime.
