- Synopsis
- This page shows a scatter graph plotting interest rates against new house sales. There is a locator dot shown, which will be at the top left of the page when the image is the correct way up. There is a Y-axis going vertically up the left side of the page. It represents increasing interest rates, going up the scale. There is an X-axis going horizontally across the bottom of the page. It represents increasing sales of new houses, going along the scale from left to right. The small crosses in the central part of the page are the data points. They show a correlation between an increasing interest rate and decreasing sales of new houses.
