- Synopsis
- This page shows an image of a side view of a star-nosed mole. There is a locator dot shown, which will be at the top left of the page when the image is the correct way up. The mole is facing right so only one eye and two feet are showing. On the right of the page is the mole's pink fleshy nose. It has lots of sensitive fingers. The nose is turned slightly towards you so both circular nostrils can be found. Left from the nose is its eye. Left and down from this is a large five-clawed forefoot which is turned palm outwards. It is a powerful digging tool. Left of this is the rear foot with two large claws showing. The mole's rounded body is dark grey and elliptical.
