Part of Mexico is shown at the top left of the page, and part of South America is at the bottom right of the page. The tip of Florida is in the top centre of the page. The map is surrounded by an image border. There is a north arrow in the top right corner of the page. Within the image border the textured (blue on large print) areas represent the sea and lakes. The position of the capital city of each country is marked by an open circle symbol. Due to lack of space some of the smaller islands are not labelled and their capitals are not indicated.
