RNIB Bookshare UK education collection

We hope the trial will demonstrate the benefits of learners having an accessible device, content and connectivity at home and at school, but we’ll need your help completing the short surveys we’ll send to you, to demonstrate this.

RNIB Bookshare’s collection of educational and leisure reading material for children and young people is growing every day. We will ask your child’s school or sensory support service to set up an account on RNIB Bookshare for your child. The service is free, and is available for schools and learners to access, with the support of parents if needed.

If you can’t find the book you’re looking for, we operate a book request service, and can usually provide it in a few days from the publisher.

Your child will a have their own reading list that their teachers and support staff can add books to, but learners can also independently search, browse and download books too. We ask schools to set up accounts that anonymise learner’s data, to ensure we comply with Data Protection Law.

We suggest you save the RNIB Bookshare website in your favourites.
