- Synopsis
- This is a graph showing how a population of yeast cells increases and slows in response to food supply. There is a locator dot shown, which will be at the top left of the page when the image is the correct way up. The Y-axis goes vertically up the left hand of the page. It indicates the increase in the number of yeast cells. The X-axis goes horizontally across the bottom of the page. It indicates time, going from left to right. The data line is shown as a heavy dashed (red in the large print version) line starting just up from the graph's origin, in the bottom left of the image and then curving up the page to the right and then levelling off.
